X-Box + iTunes = Fail?

i think that one of my favorite features on the 360 is the ability to plug your ipod into the console and listen to the music through your T.V.However i have a problem, any of the alblums/songs that i have bought on iTunes won't play. The 360 says they're unreadable; but the mp3's are fine, any alblums that i have ripped to iTunes though work perfect. If anyone has a solution it'd be helpful with a little input.X-Box + iTunes = Fail?
If I were you, I would just put the mp3 files on another medium, like a CD orUSB drive, and then plug it into your 360. I assume there are a lot of applications running on the ipod, some of which might be causing it not to work on your 360 or something, so the next best option is to keep it simple, and try alternative methods.X-Box + iTunes = Fail?

and then link my pc to my console and play music that way[/QUOTE]You can link your 360 to a PC on the same network, just make sure your computer gives your 360 permission to access its files. (There are instructions for how to do this on your 360, under the media option.)

I'm not sure if you can use your ipod with windows media or not, since I am not familiar with ipod, my dad has one tho. But I am sure the music files would still work on windows media, if you open your MP3s' folder in it.
Oh, I know how to fix this. There's a download in the Xbox Live marketplace. In there, you can look for something called an ''Optional Media'' kinda thing, not sure the exact name, but this'll let you use files you put on your iPod from iTunes or a CD.

Well, that solves mystery # 10038484756638!!!~
i recently ripped some music from itunes to a cd and was able to put them on my hard drive. itunes music can't go into media player though- its in aac format, which is covered in the optional update someone mentioned before.
i've already done this
i've already DLed the patch and it still doesn't work :(
Make sure it is MP3 or WMA files. Apple format requires license fee which is expensive. Or just burn the MUSIC CD, meaning, you burn a cd that a 20years old cd player can play. Meaning it is a music CD you normally buy in stores.
the main thing is xboxes only play mp3s and iTunes doesnt use mp3s it changes them into a different file format cuz my xbox only plays certain songs that are only in mp3 format
