There haven't been many solid titels yet... wait until E3 and the Holiday season when gaming for the year really kicks off...

Resident Evil 5
I think CoD:MW2 will actually win game of the year.
But for me, I'm hoping Assassin's Creed 2 is as good as i'm expecting.
RE5? Ha! that's a joke right. IMO it was a letdown %26 it can be easily topped, it's just the 2nd quarter of the year.
For 360 I think Street Fighter IV, Riddick: Dark Athena, Resident Evil 5 and FEAR 2 are the best games so far.
Is this just for the 360? If so, RE5.
so far is resident evil 5 but most definatley the best game of the year will be call of duty modern warfare 2 just look how many people play the 1st one now its still at original retail price so you can expect hundreds of thousands of sales within the 1st 6 hours of release lol.

I think the fight will be between CoD Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Mafia 2... All sequels, but hell, who doesn't want these games to come out?! If these games will be as good, or better, than their predecessors, they will totally rule the market...Yep, it will be a good, yet not too creative year for gaming!

Oow yeah, I forgot about that one! It is still a ''wait-and-see'' title but it has lots of potential! And it is another sequel, what's up with that?
I think it's a bit too early to decide a game of '09but SO FAR, i think the new fallout 3 dlc and...well...i don't really knowthere hasn't been any 360 blockbusters this year that i can remember.I WANT LITTLE BIG PLANET ON XBOX 360

Nuff said. Although so far I'm loving Resident Evil 5.
So far, Resident Evil 5 is the best game of the year. In the long run, I'll pick Dragon Age: Origins.
I really want Dragon Age to be good.
