LCD Screen + Audio Question Xbox 360

I have a Samsung LCD computer screen with a VGA/RGB (same thing?) input and I want to hook it up to the Xbox 360. I know I need to get Microsofts VGA cables, but the Samsung screen doesn't have any audio hook up. So, i'm thinking that I need to buy seperate audio speakers to use for the sound. So, my question is, will I be able to use the screen for video and a pair of speakers for sound? Also, right now i'm using one of those old tube tv's and i'm wondering will the graphics look a bit better using the Samsung LCD with the vga cables? Dude, someone posted a thread similiar to this the other day. Here's my response.''Here's what I use: Altec Lansing XA2021 (these are some of the best 2.1 speakers I've ever owned! I only paid $24.99 at Fry's Electronics) It also comes with a R/W audio connect for the VGA cable. Hope this helps you out.'' LCD Screen + Audio Question Xbox 360
do your speakers or sound card have any AUX IN or audio input? the 360 vga cable comes with an RCA to 3.5mm jack that lets you run the 360's sound into PC speakers.

edit: and i fail mildly at reading comprehension, the guy above me already referred to it :X
How is audio handled for each cable?

Edit: My bad, bro. I posted in the wrong thread.
