Embarased to ask...

Just played a match in good old Halo...and I saw my rep drop from 92 to 70 in one foul swoop. Anyone here got tips to bring this back up? I know rep does not matter and what not but...still kinda irks me I had it fall that lowPS: I was in a party chat so no trash talking...Embarased to ask...

Seriously though the only way is to either play with friends who will give you good rep or find a game with a good community. You will get random bad rep for no reason it's dumb and all but nothing you can do about it. The first match i did in Halo 3 got me two bad reps. I dominated the people in the game and a few people left so it was just me and two other guys so they double teamed me. In the end i won by a lot and i got bad rap. Nothing can be done to prevent it.Embarased to ask...

I know you were joking and i was too. The whole rep thing is a joke. I have so much bad rep from beating people i just laugh. I am actually happy when i get bad rep it just shows how well i did in that game. I am like 60% unsporting when i never do anything against the rules lol. I used to care as well and no matter what i did i would get avoided so i just stopped caring i only deserved unsporting conduct once when i accidenly killed my teammate in COD4 hardcore TDM.

I guess in shooters you are suppose to shake their hand and then have some coffee while you discuss politics. I thought we were suppose to shoot each other but i guess i was wrong. Yeah i have no clue about the stars i have five as well and it seems like they would go down. XBL just has a lot of sore losers i guess which is just silly gaming is for fun and shouldn't be taken so seriously. When you are actually angry enough to give random bad rep that is not very nice.

Going to try and get it back ...again I know its a lame thing to worry about but I'm a perfectionist lol. Just gotta say though I had wished that with NXE we would have seen a better rep system :(

i will become a good person now and talk about how sunny the day is and all..and stay still for the opposite team to kill me a few times, you know? -_- i really cant understand what goes on peoples minds seriously, do they play high or something? damn, we have an awesome online experience and lots of great games to joy and theres always this kind of people who just cant play and have fun..kinda reminds me the gears1 players...

i, somehow understand you, the rep system at the beginnig appealed to me quite a bit but when i realised how useless it was, i just...*disappointed*... Still, go for it.
I would say that your rep will come up in no time, I would just suggest playing games and not pissing anyone off:P
You really shouldn't care about the Rep too much. It's so easily ruined that no need to grow too attached to it.

It's more like an indicator, oh someone liked me, oh someone got pissed at me.
