whats everyone doin with their HD dvd pl ...

well i got it a little bit after it came out, got a few movies for it. The reason i ever still use and keep it is becuz i own planet earth for it and thats worth it.whats everyone doin with their HD dvd pl ...
Well, I never got one because I had no intention of watching HD movies on a crappy TV, but the HD DVD format is dead. It's only Blu-Ray now.whats everyone doin with their HD dvd pl ...
mine lives in the cupboard incase of emergenecies. After picking up the attachment from my work where i get stuff cheaper, when toshiba pulled the plug on HD dvds, all the newer players dropped in price. the $299 AU players dropped to $99, so i nabbed one of those. ithink the model number is the HD DVD-E1. i have about 60ish HD dvds, so its good to have as many HD dvd player as i can. I Actually have a ROM drive in my computer that plays both HD and blu ray as extra security. because I have an original x360, the E1 player is also my upscalling DVD player(over HDMI), this is due to the x360 not upscaling DVDs over component.
Well some people are making real laser guns out of it, they can even burn certain materials! :D
I still have mine, and still watch and buy movies for it. I got mine only a month before Toshiba pulled the plug on HD DVD, so it would have seemed like money wasted if I just got rid of it.
never got it, wanted to wait to see who won the war, glad i stayed off haha
