Using xbox live with an isp that require ...

has anyone figured out a way to enable the xbox to connect to networks that require login?

almost all universities require logging in to use their internet service. i posted on xbox live's open twitter for their conference last week related to this issue. i doubt they'll do anything about it.Using xbox live with an isp that require ...
Why do you need a login? Is it wireless or are they charging an extra fee for their internet on top of paying to live there? If you have a wireless connection you can try hooking your xbox to your computer via ethernet and connecting to Live that way.Might help to give a bit more detail on your situation. For all I know you could be trying to log in AOL. I've known people who, up to about a year ago, thought they had to sign on to AOL to use the internet even though they had abroadband connection.Using xbox live with an isp that require ...
no it's wireless. and our own wireless router's crapped out. our school has a campus wireless network right outside our door, but it requires NETPASS login (login once per connection)

the xbox is in the living room. and the computer's not...
check this out, maybe it's the same for your campus.http://www.it.northwestern.edu/student-support/netpass/netpass-reg.html
hmmm

i asked the it department here. they told me that works for the wired network, not for the wireless
