GS score instead of MS points?

Who agrees that you could use GS instead of MS points? It would be so much better and it would give a new excuse to get Achievements!GS score instead of MS points?
Who agrees that you could use GS
no, no, no. as it has been asked SEVERAL times, it is a terrible idea. because people will boost, glitch and farm MS points (ie create dummy acc, do the same easy 1000 point games, build up points, sell acc)GS score instead of MS points?
Use the search function, it has been discussed before... Several times.
Wouldn't work at all. Like chaoscougar1 has already mentioned you could buy one game with cheap achievements (like Avatar) and create an unlimited number of accounts to generate ''currency''. This obviously can't be what MS wants. From a business perspective this would be a total disaster. Apart from that, I think it would also destroy the concept of Gamerscore by turning it into a sort of wage for your playtime, instead of something you'd just do for fun.
This would be financial suicide for MS.
Avatar would instantly become a best seller.

It would probably be faster to play that game for all 1000GS than it would be to get to the screen to buy more MS points on the dashboard.

...well ''play'' Avatar might be too strong a term - mash B would be more suitable :P
Avatar would instantly become a best seller.
Nicely thought! I would buy 1.000.000 Avatars!

Avatar would instantly become a best seller.
Nicely thought! I would buy 1.000.000 Avatars!
:| he meant avatar the game...not your personal avatar

Then why would you do that?

Horrible idea... wouldn't work; yes, as aforementioned, it has also already been discussed and debated so many times.

There really should be something.. anything at all for having a high gamerscore. A free theme or a stupid avatar tshirt.. anything would be cool. From a business standpoint, rewarding someone for playing a ton of games could be a sales booster. Have an awesome looking theme when you get 10k gamerscore and i can almost gurantee people would play more to get more achievements. I dont see how offering little rewards for gamerscore could hurt at all. Something like a gamerscore store where you unlock avatar parts would be sweet. So many freebees here microsoft =P

that is a better idea, something redeemable in the game itself, clothing, weapons, vehicles etc or gear for your actual personal avatar
In terms of business sense, I don't this will be a good move for Microsoft and even if it was to be implemented in some way, people would just cheat, glitch and boost for MS points, so I don't think its a very good idea to be honest.

Avatar would instantly become a best seller.
Nicely thought! I would buy 1.000.000 Avatars!
wait wat? why would you do that?but imho, more games should make achievments\unlockables like bungie did for halo 3, after getting 1k achievments or w/e you get the katana, could be put to use to a less extent for alot of other games.200 gs in soul calibur 4 = new weapons for characters? 300 gs= new clothing, etc.its an idea, but its prolly been talked about alot
One way it could work is if your account hits a certain amount of GS they give you so much credit in the market place. Of course the likely-hood of M$ giving away money like that just goes against their money whoring ways.

You get certain achievments you get new armor and such...you get them all and you get the katana.. Instantly made poeple want to play the campaign and do all teh achievments.
