The best baseball game is MLB The Show for the PS3 it is far ahead of MLB 2k series.
Good Question. Although keep in mind that MLB 2K9 had to start over with a different team this year. Started from scratch. I think it's still a couple years away from glory.

lol on the PS3, even Power Pro's for the Wii is better than the 2K series. Them getting the exclusive righst to the MLB license was the worst thing that could have happened. Baseball games were always the most competitve among sports titles.
I have the 2Ksports baseball - it's not that bad - has some glitches , but overall it's decent. The one main issue I think was fixed was a routine grounder that normally would be an out turns into a single as the 1st baseman would pull off the base too early. There was an update a week or so ago, seems like since then I haven't had that happen. Only time anything close to this happens is if the throw to first is off or wide of the base and the 1st baseman has no choice to come off the base to make the catch.
