halo 3 achievement help!

so theres one for 50g that says get 3 assassinations on a legendary map in any ranked or social match. well i was on boundless which is avalanche, which is a DLC Legendary map, and got the 3 assassinations, but no achievements unlocked. Whats up?halo 3 achievement help!

Boundless is a version of Snowbound, which is heroic. So maybe thats why. If you didn't get it on avalanche then I don't know why. Sorry. Broken achievement maybe? Like my Vegas Realistic Achievement grrg. halo 3 achievement help!
Maybe that's why then. Avalanche the original never shows up anymore so maybe I'll just have to hope that it does sometime.
boundless is version is snowbound, correct, but it is not a heroic map, it came as one of the original maps. and there are only two versions of avalanche, 'avalanche' and 'avalanche heavy' so no, u did not get the achievement
