Fallout 3 level up bug

i just downloaded op anchorage and i can't level up! i resumed my game and when i go up a level i can't select a perk...the 'done' option is greyed out and i can't get past the levelup screen. i tried to reload the game but it does the same thing, has this happened to anyone else?Fallout 3 level up bug
dude its not a bug, the next level cap 21-30 is the broken steel DLC NOT ancorage. that DLC coming end of march so keep waiting. next time research the dlc before reportingFallout 3 level up bug

How do you know he's in level 20?
can you be more specific about what level your on?

If it is level 20 your at then yeah then punkpunker is right.

But if not then yeah there might be a problem
another maybe obvious question is have you assigned all your skill points? It won't let you leave the menu until they have all been assigned

If he was at level 20 he wouldnt even be gaining experience points to get to the perks screen so i dont know how you guys are saying he is maxed out. READ FIRST.
Sorry for the lack of info...i'm currently on level nine. i've tried restarting from my last save but it still doesn't work. Will i have to restart the entire game or is there any way to fix this?
some perks you can only get if you have certain stats

So tell us more, if you will, please. Where *exactly* is the problem -- on the skill-points screen or on the perks screen? Are you saying that the game won't even let you select a perk, or that even when you do select a perk, the game won't let you exit out of the level-up menu?
u cant leave the menu without assigning all your points and choosing a perk
i think i have the same problem..ive been at lvl 20 forever and i keep doing thing that would give me xp but the little meter on the bottom doesnt show up anymore and i know i have enough xp but its just not letting me lvl up

Level 20 is the maximum level. Once you reach that you stop earning XP and just remain level 20.



The third piece of DLC (Broken Steel) plans to increase the level cap to 30.
